St. Hildegard of Bingen

Healer, Mystic, Poet and Sage

St. Hildegard of Bingen was a German nun who was born in 1098 in the Rhine River Valley, Germany.  She was a  Benedictine abbess, writer, composer, philosopher, Christian mystic, visionary, and polymath. Hildegard Medicine was and still is practiced widely in Germany and abroad, as a branch of Traditional European Medicine. We have studied Hildegard's recipes and books, and have implemented a product line using her original recipes and philosphies - such as; with each batch of Hildegard Honeywine, we make sure to include "at least one drop of water, to humanize the wine". As we expand our product line and recipe base, we will be providing more education on this amazing woman and carrying on her legacy,                nearly 1,000 years after her death.
